Lady Elise... In a Cave

The Warlock has been hard at work over the last two weeks putting together some supplemental content for Decadent Denizens & Dastardly Destinations: The Gashwhiffer Goblins of Cackle Mine. But, while dealing with a bout of insomnia, I decided to do some art for my own personal gaming group.

If she looks familiar to you, she made her debut here in the blog on Oct 13. In the game, she played a courier for one of the religious organizations. However, she took a side job that put her at odds with the player characters. This led to quite a few dying. As the campaign went on, this character was called to answer for her part in the ordeal and lost her status with the religious organization and ended up as a serving wench.

Out of a sense of guilt over the part she played in the evils that befell the characters, and out of a sense of dissatisfaction with her current situation, she offered her services to one of the characters for a year. This let my group and I introduce and play with the henchman mechanics, something we had not done before in the last two campaigns.

This particular scene is following a nasty combat with a minotaur where she almost died. The character who is charged with her gave her a potion of healing and her already high moral has increased even more. Is there romance in the future... we shall see.
